Golden Hello

Golden Hello

A career-coaching platform where a member gets an AI coach on demand, human coaches they can book, and a Career Vault of their own documents that both can draw on — with permission the member grants separately to each.

Three roles, one member at the centre

Golden Hello calls itself a lifelong career companion and promises members their record is “100% confidential and entirely your own”. That promise is the thing the architecture is built to keep.

Members get an AI coach that answers at any hour, human coaches they can book into real slots, and a Career Vault holding their own CVs, assessments and reports. Coaches work with the members who chose them. Admins run the programme.

The Career Vault

A member's documents are theirs. They upload CVs, assessments and reports; the text is extracted and indexed so both coaches can draw on it, and the member controls who that includes.

Permission is two separate grants rather than one switch. The Golden Hello team is governed by a setting on the member's profile; each individual coach is governed by the booking the member made with them — so a member can share with one coach and not the next. A member who has never been asked is never assumed to have agreed, and can change their mind on any booking they own at any time.

The vault is candid about itself. If a coach may not see it, they are told so plainly rather than shown an empty shelf, and a document that cannot be read reports why on upload — so a member always knows exactly what their coach can see.

An AI coach that holds the thread

Every message searches the member's own vault, so the coach answers from that member's record rather than from generic advice — their strengths profile, their last appraisal, the CV they uploaded last week.

The hard part of that is the second question. Search the latest sentence alone and a follow-up like “are you sure?” retrieves passages about certainty, losing the document that answered the original question. This one searches on the recent conversation rather than the last line, and keeps the passages it just used in range for another turn, so a member can push back, ask for more, or change tack and still be talking about their own record.

The human half

Coaches publish availability as real slots, members book into them, and each booking carries its own video link and the coach's private notes. Feedback is captured per session, and sign-in reaches members over WhatsApp as well as email — for this audience, the channel they actually read.
